ABOUT
I was fascinated with breakdancing, had my grotesque attempts to do graffiti, I was in the crowd during DJ competitions, I had my rap group, I experienced the culture .... and my last stop was Beat Making. I started with studying the work of DJ Premier, Large Professor, Pete Rock, Just Blaze, Alchemist and 9th Wonder. I remember figuring out the tempo, the drum patterns, the sounds and the samples my favorite producers used and trying to recreate their magic.
The hours, the days, the months and the years dedicated to perfecting the basics of this craft is what made me appreciate the music even more.
My next goal was to find my own voice. Programming drums, looking for samples, that I can manipulate in a way that captures my emotions, feelings and impressions. I start putting together instrumentals and beat tapes and publish them online. I connected with other producers and artists and learn even more this culture. In my mid 20's I decided to approach music in a more serious manner.
England was where my dreams took me, I studied music Technology in London for a while. I start publishing my beats online which let to producing several singles, EP-s and selling instrumentals to artists internationally.
So here we are.... This blog is another form of expression, another attempt to connect with more like-minded people and share my inspirations and my art.
