Madlib At The Red Bull Music Academy

Madlib, perhaps the most critically acclaimed underground hip-hop producer, if there is even such thing, was recently a guest at The Red Bull Music Academy. While most people would connect his name with recent projects such as Freddie Gibbs, Kanye West and even MF Doom, many hip-hop fans were first introduced to Madlib's work through J Dilla, Erykah Badu, Mos Def and De La Soul.
Madlib is also famous for being a tru instrumentalist, in other words using not only sample, but also live instruments such as drums, pianos, horns and keyboards. From Hip-Hop and Neo Soul to Jazz and Funk, Madlib has a lot to share, so you can't be sure this lecture is something you don't want to miss.
